During prayer the Lord gave me a parable in the form of a vision. In this vision, some very large logs were being moved by a shallow stream of water. The stream of water looked like it was only a few inches deep, but nevertheless, it moved the logs over and off this high cliff with ease. The cliff looked like it was about 500 feet high. I could see a good size river below moving the fallen logs down stream.
Then the Lord gave me the following scripture:
Judg 7:5 So Gideon took the men down to the water. There the LORD told him, "Separate those who lap the water with their tongues like a dog from those who kneel down to drink."
Judg 7:6 Three hundred men lapped with their hands to their mouths. All the rest got down on their knees to drink.
Judg 7:7 The LORD said to Gideon, "With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the other men go, each to his own place."
